Water damage can happen, whether from a burst pipe, storm flooding, or an appliance malfunction. At D & N Water Damage, we understand that time is of the essence when it comes to water damage restoration in Berks County. Our team is equipped with the latest water extraction tools and drying technology to minimize damage and restore your property quickly. The first step in our process is to stop the source of the water and perform a thorough damage assessment. Using moisture meters and thermal cameras, we ensure that no hidden pockets of water remain.
We then begin water extraction using high-powered pumps, followed by industrial-grade drying equipment to eliminate moisture from walls, floors, and furniture. But we don’t stop at just drying the area. We thoroughly sanitize and disinfect the affected areas to prevent bacteria growth and unpleasant odors. If mold has already developed, our mold remediation specialists step in to remove it safely and completely. For any materials or structures that cannot be salvaged, we provide removal and replacement services to ensure your home is safe and secure.
Fire damage goes beyond the visible destruction caused by flames. Smoke and soot can cause long-term damage to your belongings and the structural integrity of your property. At D & N Water Damage, we offer comprehensive fire damage restoration services in Berks County that address every aspect of recovery. The first step in our process is a detailed inspection to assess the full scope of the damage, including any hidden risks such as weakened structures or embedded smoke particles.
We use specialized cleaning techniques to remove soot from walls, ceilings, and floors, preventing permanent staining and further corrosion. Smoke odor removal is a critical part of the restoration process, and we use state-of-the-art equipment like ozone machines and hydroxyl generators to completely neutralize odors. Any water damage caused by firefighting efforts is also addressed with our water extraction and drying services. From minor repairs to major reconstruction, we manage every step of the restoration process, ensuring your home is safe and restored to its pre-fire condition.

The first settlers came to the Clinton area around 1740. The community was originally known as Clinton Courthouse. There was an earlier incorporated town of Clinton elsewhere in the state; however, that town folded in 1822 and Clinton was incorporated as a town in the same year. In 1852, the General Assembly passed several acts to improve regulation of towns, including Clinton. As part of the "Act for the Better Regulation of the Town of Clinton in the County of Sampson," the General Assembly appointed five commissioners: James Moseley, Isaac Boykin, Dr. Henry Bizzel, John Beaman, and Alfred Johnson. The corporate limits of the town at that time extended a half mile each way from the courthouse. The first records of an election were in February 1852 and the first tax rate was $0.50 per $100 valuation of real property. In July 1953, the town became a city.
